The European Workshop on Imagery and Cognition (EWIC 2016)
is a biennial meeting that has provided invaluable opportunities for many scientists to exchange their views and findings in the domain of mental imagery and cognition since its beginning in Orsay (France) in 1986.
This scientific meeting is devoted to the study of the various forms of mental imagery (e.g., visual, auditory, and motor imagery) as well as related topics (e.g., perception, attention, working memory, spatial cognition, and language comprehension) using behavioural methods and neuroscience techniques. The last two EWIC were held in Cyprus (http://www.ewic2014.org/) and Germany (http://www.ruhr-uni-bochum.de/ewic2012/info.html).
For its 30th anniversary, it comes back in France and takes place in Paris the 6, 7 and 8 th June 2016.
EWIC 2016 is sponsored by the European Society for Cognitive Psychology (ESCOP) as an ESCOP thematic meeting.
EWIC 2016 is also under the patronage of the French National Committee of Psychological Science.
